With new digital recording equipment, Valley Voice volunteer Fred Ziomek reads a magazine in Recording Room Two. The new system was not cheap, but it greatly improves our sound quality and allows us to rebroadcast shows throughout the day and night without needing staff on hand to operate playback equipment. We also no longer need to buy expensive and unreilable DAT tapes which often broke and caused program impairments.
